Douglas Pelletier — Founder & CEO
Doug grew up in Toronto, Canada. After four years at the University of Waterloo and a year of graduate school at Regent College in Vancouver, studying ethics and theology, Doug attended Lehigh University where he completed his studies in the Masters of Business Administration Program (MBA). He entered the ranks of the IBM Corporation in 1981 in the General Systems Division as a Marketing Representative in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Doug left IBM and incorporated Trifecta Technologies in 1991, to deliver software and services to customers as an IBM Business Partner. Under his leadership, the company has enjoyed more than seventeen years of growth and emerged as an expert in the area of eCommerce and Internet-based application development.
Doug is very active in the Lehigh Valley community, as a member of the Board of Trustees of Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown; a past Chairman of the Board of the Sacred Heart Foundation; a past Director of LARC (now called Via); and Past President of Kiwanis Club of West Allentown. He is also a strong supporter of the United Way of the Lehigh Valley, and is a member of the Tocqueville Society. He is an avid golfer and member of Lehigh Country Club in Allentown.
Russ Kopy — Vice President
Russ currently has responsibility for all of Trifecta Technologies’ major accounts as well as maintaining customer relationships with some of Trifecta’s longest standing accounts.
Russ served as Vice President and General Manager of the firm for more than nine years. Prior to 1998, Russ served in a variety of executive capacities with Pentamation Enterprises of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. During most of his seventeen years with that organization, he was Vice President for the Government Systems Division specializing in the development and implementation of software products for the local government marketplace. Prior to 1987, he served as General Manager for the Physician Services and Facilities Management divisions of the company. As a member of Pentamation’s executive committee, he was also the chairperson for strategic planning for the three operating divisions of this information technology company. Prior to Pentamation, Russ served as a consultant/associate with Booz, Allen & Hamilton’s Management Consulting Group in New York City and previous to that time, he held the position of Systems Engineer with Electronic Data Systems Corporation of Dallas, Texas.Kevin Doyle — President, Trifecta Canada (and Vice President, Sales and Marketing)
Kevin is responsible for overseeing the operations and growth of Trifecta Technologies Canada, Ltd as well as the Sales and Marketing functions for Trifecta Technologies overall operation. Mr. Doyle has the responsibility to lead and direct Trifecta’s business development activities, sales strategies, sales execution as well as Marketing strategies and tactics.
Prior to joining Trifecta, Kevin enjoyed a very successful 15 year career at IBM in various capacities. The latest was as an IBM eCommerce Sales Executive for 6 years, dealing with some the largest, most visible brands in the world. Kevin also held several Product Marketing positions in IBM, as well as in several other small software companies that were grown and acquired, one of them by IBM. Kevin started his career with one of the largest banks in Canada, rising to senior management position in the Corporate Banking division. While his career was heavily focused on technology, Kevin leveraged his computer science education to become very business development focused, helping his companies grow in the marketplace.
Andy Derr — Vice President of Technology and Development
Andy is responsible for the team of developers, architects, project managers, and client engagement managers that execute client projects. He oversees all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, functional and technical design and documentation, software development, software selection, integration, and on-going maintenance and support. Andy is also responsible for Trifecta’s state-of-the-art hosting center.
Prior to joining Trifecta in 1999, Andy held positions at IBM for 15 years. Beginning as a software developer in Endicott, NY, he eventually transitioned into a role as an architect and consultant with the Global Services/Business Consulting Services division. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and a Masters in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University.
