As SafeRide Health expanded its services and transportation network, new opportunities emerged to improve internal efficiency, provider experience, and compliance workflows.
While existing systems supported core operations, they had limitations in scalability, especially in automating credentialing, enabling provider self-service, and streamlining data flow across platforms.
For instance, the Mileage Reimbursement Program for individual drivers relied on a single Experience Cloud portal tied to one health plan, with data manually entered into the SafeRide platform. Credentialing processes for broader provider types, such as ambulance and NEMT organizations, were not yet supported within Salesforce. There was also no formal lead intake process or centralized portal for transportation providers to manage credentials and documentation.
To support future growth, SafeRide partnered with Trifecta to modernize and scale its systems, improve compliance, simplify provider onboarding, and reduce manual data entry.

We built a modular credentialing portal within Salesforce Experience Cloud that supports multiple transportation provider types and intelligently guides them through the required steps based on their classification—whether a member driver, NEMT company, or ambulance provider.
We enhanced the existing Mileage Reimbursement Program portal to accommodate multiple health plans with plan-specific customizations. Internally, we implemented dedicated workflows for individual and provider onboarding, added a state-based web-to-lead form, and introduced validation rules and email automation to improve data accuracy. Integration with SafeRide’s platform ensures real-time updates to account, driver, and vehicle records.
SafeRide now operates with greater speed, visibility, and efficiency. Credentialing is automated and tailored by provider type, reducing manual steps and increasing compliance oversight. The new system supports SafeRide’s growing provider network and enables faster onboarding.
Following implementation, the number of health plans using the Mileage Reimbursement Program doubled. Real-time platform integration ensures data accuracy, while lead routing is now optimized by geography and provider type—positioning SafeRide to scale with confidence.
Automated Credentialing Portal: A dynamic, provider-type-specific portal was created to intelligently determine credentialing workflows and required documentation for each provider type (e.g., drivers, NEMT companies, ambulance providers).
Compliance & Visibility: SafeRide now has full visibility into the credentialing status and documentation of their transportation network, reducing risk and ensuring operational compliance.
Reduced Manual Involvement: Automation flows, intelligent routing, and reminders have significantly decreased staff administration time.
Proprietary Platform Integration: Trifecta’s integration created a real-time sync of account, driver, and vehicle data back to the SafeRide platform.
Streamlined Lead Process: The lead process is now optimized and geographically assigned, supporting SafeRide’s aggressive growth and outreach goals.
